Powder River Office Supply is a locally owned family operated business in Gillette, Wyoming, founded in 1978 by Herb and Dorothy Carter.   

With a vision and passion for office supplies, the Carters have offered and supplied quality products, competitive prices and professional and courteous service for 35 years.

Not only has Powder River been serving Northeast Wyoming for all these years, but recently they have branched out. We deliver weekly to Moorcroft and Sundance. Let us know if we can save you a trip. Louise Carter-King

Owner

Louise is one of the nine children of the founders, Herb and Dorothy Carter. She has been in the business since day one and now serves as owner. For 30 years, she has followed in her parent's footsteps by giving back to the community. Louise has served on City Council and supports various community projects.

Casey Painter

Partner

Casey is one of Louise Carter's two children. She has grown up in the business! She has been working with the company since High School. After attending college in Hawaii, she happily decided to make her way back to Gillette. Casey has vast experience and knowledge in office supplies and furniture as well!

Shelly Lauer

Business Account Specialist

Shelley Lauer handles the businesses accounts receivable department. She started with the business 16 years ago as a retail clerk. This loyal friend has seen the business grow and change over the years, all while outlasting the competition.

Nancy Perry

Customer Service Specialist

Nancy Perry is our customer service specialist. She has been in the business for over three years and can help you with any office supply need, big or small. Come on into our storefront location and be greeted by our friendliest employee!!

Shawn Gegelman

Warehouse Manger

Shawn is our warehouse manager. He's been with the business for over ten years and is knowledgeable in everything from furniture to supplies and just about everything else!
